Viscaria vs Viscaria Super ALC — is the upgrade worth it
Manufacturer figures
Butterfly official, 1-15Both products use the same manufacturer scale, so these figures can be read side by side.
What actually differs
This is Viscaria with the carbon swapped for Super ALC. The construction and design intent are otherwise the same.
The way the official figures move is interesting. Reaction goes up while vibration comes down. Usually more speed brings more shock to the hand; this combination does not follow that. It throws harder while staying quieter.
The question is the size of the gap. Reaction differs by 0.3 on the official scale — not a wide margin within the spread of Butterfly’s 45 blades. Feeling it requires a swing settled enough to repeat the same contact point.
The price gap is around ₩70,000. If your ball is not yet consistent, that money does more for you spent on rubber. If instead you have played Viscaria for a long time and kept wishing for slightly more, this is the least jarring step up, because nothing else about the blade changes.
