Hurricane Hao 3
A Wang Hao series blade with a distinctive 2+2 construction wrapping a fiberglass core, raising both utility and spin. Suits balanced two-winged attacking play.
About this product
The only DHS blade here built on glass fibre — five-ply with a 2+2 glass-fibre core, 5.8mm, ₩380,000.
Glass fibre is used where a softer response is wanted than arylate or aramid give. Instead of the sharp return that characterises carbon, it keeps something close to a wooden feel and adds only a little power. In a family where Hao and Hao 2 were solid wood, this reads as adding fibre while trying to preserve the character.
The inner placement points the same way: fibre set away from the surface softens the abruptness and lengthens dwell. Material and position both lean soft.
It is classed attacking, but expecting the linear punch of an outer-carbon blade will disappoint. This is the step up for someone who wants to keep the Hao feel.
