About this product
The thickest blade in the Hurricane Long family at 6.4mm — half a millimetre more than Long 5, and the thickest DHS blade covered here.
A thicker blade flexes less, and less flex means pushing the ball away rather than wrapping around it. That half-millimetre is why this feels more linear than Long 5 despite sharing the same five-ply outer arylate construction.
It costs the same ₩360,000 as Long 5. Different thickness makes it a different object, not a lower or higher model — the larger number simply means it came later.
Thicker blades also return less information to the fingertips. If you adjust by feel, Long 5 may suit you better.
