Hurricane Long 5 Golden Slam
A limited commemorative edition marking Ma Long's double Grand Slam, with a redesigned lens at the handle. Softer and more stable than the standard Long 5.
About this product
A commemorative edition marking Ma Long’s Golden Slam. The specification — five-ply with inner arylate carbon, 5.9mm — matches the base Long 5, at ₩480,000.
That is ₩120,000 more for identical construction and thickness. The difference lies in it being a commemorative build, with the timber selection and finish that implies, and DHS offers no performance figure to quantify it.
It is worth being clear about what you are buying. The ₩120,000 is attached to scarcity and finish, not to performance. Bought knowingly, that is a reasonable purchase; bought unknowingly, it is an expensive Long 5.
On playing results alone, buying the base Long 5 and putting the remaining ₩120,000 into two sheets of rubber gets you further.
