W968S Six Golds
A top-grade collector's blade limited to 6,666 pieces worldwide, marking Ma Long's six gold medals across four Olympic Games.
About this product
A limited edition of 6,666 pieces worldwide marking Ma Long’s Grand Slam: five-ply with inner arylate carbon, 6.0mm, ₩1,300,000 — the most expensive product on this site.
The construction and thickness match the ₩360,000 Hurricane King. The ₩940,000 difference comes from the limited run and commemorative finish.
This is closer to memorabilia than to equipment. The fact that 6,666 has no relationship whatsoever to how it plays makes that plain. More of these will sit in their boxes than will ever be glued up and taken to a match.
We cannot explain this price on performance grounds. DHS publishes no figures, and a blade of the same design exists for under a third of the money. As a collectible it justifies itself; as spending aimed at playing better, it is not the direction.
