About this product
The only Hayabusa without carbon: limba five-ply all wood, 6.0mm, 83g, ₩80,000.
What is interesting is that it weighs the same 83g as the carbon models. All-wood blades usually get thicker and heavier to reach comparable return; this one raises thickness to 6.0mm to do that work while keeping the weight in line with the family.
It is classed attacking, but without carbon the ceiling is clearly lower. In exchange, the amount of information the wood sends back to your fingers is something the carbon models cannot match — you can feel where on the face you hit, and that matters a great deal while you are still improving.
It works both as a step on the way into the carbon models and as somewhere to return to when carbon turns out not to suit you.
